Light House Project...Started Sept. 16,2010

I've had this project on the back burner for some time and Friday Sept 17th I got a chance to maybe at least get it started.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed in the Light Houses here in Florida,as I did my background research,I found what is out there, is not what I'm used to. However I started anyway,in spite of the photographic quality I ran into in the research.

Out in the field 2  days, in the northern most part of the east coast of Florida,I shot 5 lighthouses, from Amelia Island south.

GPS sure made my life easier and less stressful, got me to where I wanted to go without missing a beat, even on the ferry crossing "She" I call her her "Miss Jared" was barking out directions.

30 LH's if my count is correct. Some because of seasonal restraints I may not be able to visit.

Ok first venture out:

Sept 17--18  2010

Mal,Bear and I left Clearwater at 6am and arrived at Ponce De Leon Inlet  LH and started working the shutters at 0839. Speaking of shutters,I had a task at hand,I wanted to compare shots from 3 CAMERAS.The 3 where, the little Panny ZS7
The Panny GF1 with 20mm lens

And the Panny G1 with 45x200mm

The drill was to take the same capture with each...hmmmmmm

Don't laugh it worked out pretty well.
